In other fun news we are excited to announce that we will be embarking on a mini headlining tour of our own just to let everybody know that we are back and ready to go again. We figured that some of the Jessie J shows might already be sold out and we wanted to give all our fans the chance to see us again. We will be playing some brand new songs that will be appearing on the next album, some songs everybody knows and maybe some of the ‘Restless Summer’ versions! Joining us on this little adventure will be our buddies New Empire. Hey peeps,

So because you guys are so amazing and we love you all… we have some new exciting news that we pobably can’t wait any longer to tell you guys, so we’re going to let you in on a little secret… We’ve just gotten word that we’re going to be supporting JESSIE J when she heads down under to tour the country next month in March!! Also joining us on the road will be Professor Green and Ruby Rose.

This is going to be officially announced in the next few days, but we wanted you all to know before anyone else found out… We’ve also heard through the grapevine that the Sydney Show at the Hordern Pavilion is expected to sell out tonight (only 100 tickets left), so get on it if you want to come along! There will also be limited final ticket releases for the rest of the shows soon…

Firstly welcome to 2012…. We were lucky enough to bring in the new year with a few of you in Mooloolaba. Thanks for coming to party with us. 2012 is going to be a crazy exciting year for many reasons but mainly because we are releasing a whole bunch of new tunes for your ears…

So there was no rest for the wicked, after new years we straight back into it…. We flew down to Melbourne to record with the rad and ever so (multi) talented Jon Hume at the stables studio and  that’s where we remained for the last week. Firstly we had to do some necessary grocery shopping because we were recording on an old farm in the middle of nowhere so the shops weren’t really that easy to get to…. Then we started working on three songs: Ready to kill, Jealous and Miss You.  You may have heard us play 2 of these live but 1 is still a surprise….!

It was great to be so far away from everything. It gave us the opportunity to go yabbi hunting – wade seemed to be a professional in the field –  and of course bonfire making. And it wouldn’t be a bonfire without loud improvised songs about anything and everything (mainly yabbies).

A lot of coffee was consumed, there were some late nights in the studio, pizza eating, app playing (check out jumbline peeps, it’s extremely addictive!) but most importantly…. music making.

It was great to be back in the studio, finally bringing the demos that we spent 9 months writing to life and getting them ready for your ears. We spent a great deal of time fine tuning our sound and do what it was we wanted to do with this record. We can’t wait for all of you to be a part of it
again!

I don’t need to tell you but we all know it is the season to be jolly…. Hopefully we can all be expecting a friendly visit from our good friend Santa, unless of course you haven’t been behaving this year. Unfortunately this means Wade won’t be getting any presents.

Restless Summer
Needless to say Christmas is my favorite time of year, a time for fun, (too much) food, lollies, smiles and giving. With this being said, we thought we would give you guys a little Christmas treat as well. We have been working hard in the studio on ‘Restless Summer’ – a complete re-interpreation of our debut album ‘Restless’ for you to enjoy before the new record comes out. Every song has been re-worked and changed a little bit to soundtrack your summer. The full album will be available for FREE DOWNLOAD from January 10th. But as a special christmas present, you can stream our acoustic of Late Nights on youtube now as well as see a little christmas message from the band.
